Happy Pride Month!!
Celebrating Pride Month at the PSS canteen!!
Grade 1/2 had a great time visiting the Pinawa Post Office as part of our local community learning! Highlights included seeing a hand pop through the mailbox, discovering that Santa’s postal code is HOH OHO, and helping deliver an Amazon package. A big thank you to our post office for the warm welcome and fun experience!
With the heat, FWG run-club moved indoors. The runners focused on lower body stretching and mechanics of flexibility!

Staff Pattern Day !!
The Grade 5/6's had a guest today for french class! Elouenn our grade 10 International student joined their class to answer questions on his experience, country and language! He also got to play French bingo! The students enjoyed learning about Elouenn and his home country!
WE NEED HOST FAMILIES!!!
SDW International Program is looking for a host for a male- Kian from Germany. He is 15 years old and will be with us for 5 months. This student enjoys tennis, skiing, swimming, music, football, basketball , volleyball, cooking, reading, watching movies and sports and outdoor activities. There will be a monthly stipend to host. Elouenn our international student from France enjoyed a few days camping!!
In grade 7 science today we are deciphering types of structures as an introduction to our Forces and Structures unit. Students are very excited to start building their own structures soon! Stay tuned.
