SDW Remembrance Day Service
Community Welcome
November 10 1030am Doors Open & Ceremony at 11:00am

Have an hour to spare and care about getting great books in our kids hands? Help sort, organize, and catalogue books for our new library system! Join us Monday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings. No regular commitment needed. Every bit helps! Email Jill Chambers if interested: chambersj@sdwhiteshell.mb.ca

The Grade 1’s would like to thank Mrs. Tait for coming to our classroom to do a Poppy art project with us for Remembrance Day. We learned about lines and water colours. 😊

The grade 3 class is doing Métis dot art for our Remembrance Day Wreath. Everyone was encouraged to find their “spirit dot” on their poppy.

Lunch break? More like a lift break. 💪🐾 The PSS weight room was bumpin’ today! Love seeing our Panthers get their reps in and cheer each other on over lunch. In the book Spark, Dr. John Ratey explores how movement supports brain health, mood, and focus. A lunchtime lift is one way our Panthers can look after their mental health and head into the afternoon feeling recharged. #GoPanthers #PinawaSecondary #StudentWellness

Exploring Ecosystems

Today, our Grade 10 class spent some time exploring the waters and shores around our local beach to examine biodiversity!

Grade 7/8 Science B observing biotic/abiotic interactions interactions in an ecosystem.

Did you know that learning to read doesn't happen naturally? There is a science behind how children learn to read, and understanding it can make a big difference! We're excited to invite FWG families to an evening of learning and conversation. We'll share what we're learning from our literacy screening results, how we're supporting students, and how families can help build strong, confident readers at home. Have questions about your child's reading journey? Mark your calendars for November 16!
