Part of Experiential week the grade 7/8 completed the Egg Drop challenge. We had too many eggs survive the Egg Drop Challenge so we held an egg toss to determine the winners!

This year’s Experiential Week cooking challenge was a Schili (Schiltroth Chili) cook off. Congratulations to our winner Deegan!

Kindergarten to Grade 4 FW Gilbert students had a wonderful day playing pickleball - we saw great teamwork, participation and smiles all around! A special thank you to The Courts for hosting us!

A beautiful day for a beautiful Grad

Last Wednesday our Gr. 9 Drama class put on a performance of the play "The Layover" for their friends and family and did a phenomenal job! Most of the students have had little Drama experience up to now and put on a great show for their audience. Students not on stage built the amazing set used on stage, all of their own design, and put together technical elements to help bring the show to life. Thank you to those who attended for your support and our great community members that contributed to the set, lights, and more. We look forward to showing more of our students great work and creativity in future Drama productions

Aviation Museum field trip with the grade 3s and 4s!

The School District of Whiteshell would like to thank the Pinawa Foundation and Anita & Lian Drabyk for chosing our District for the R.T. Drabyk Endowment Fund Grant for Sport Travel. The Division used these funds to help pay for student travel for the Track Provincials this past weekend. The District if very grateful for being chosen for this grant.

Provincials weekend for our Panthers has been an amazing experience with new personal best performances, a gold medal win for Kevin in javelin and a silver medal for Lola in Shot put thus far! Excited for what tomorrow brings’ Go Panthers!

This year’s recipient recipient of the grade 9 social studies golden goose award is none other than Kai Long. Throughout the course of the year, the kids partake in a series of quizzes around the content of the course and the person who has the highest score at the end of the year gets the goose.

Pictured here is our grade 9 business innovations class. All semester long they’ve been involved in a variety of different start your own business projects which in combination have raised over $1400 for a variety of charities. All in all the kids had fun and learned a lot about running their own small business. Congratulations to them and the charities on the rec receiving end of their hard work.
