Adaptability & Communication: Flexible, proactive, and proficient in communicating effectively while responding to changing classroom dynamics and student needs.

FWG Book Character Day!!

Did you know that Pinawa Secondary School has an ice fishing team? Panthers practicing at Alexander Docks on a beautiful day Thursday after school. Panthers gearing up for the upcoming Manitoba High School Ice Fishing Derby in March!

Congratulations to Kevin Bissonnette on being nominated for the Manitoba Council for Exceptional Children’s Yes I Can Award -and for taking home the win in the Transitions category! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to students at SOLO truly make a difference. We are so proud to see you representing Pinawa and the School District of Whiteshell with such pride and excellence.

Thank you to Chantal Kaczanowski for coming in and doing Kitchen Club with our students over lunch. Students made Chicken Gyros!

Hon Wayne Ewasko and Dr. Papetti, our honoured guests, came to read to the FWG students today in an all school assembly while Access Credit Union joined us with their D.O.G. Nickel on Feb 20th! Thank you to our community for their shared visits, including many parents in individual rooms too!

The grade 7/8 Science class is building pinhole cameras.

Congratulations to the Junior High girls on winning the Sunrise Athletic Division North. Next week they will head to cross overs to play for the banner!
