HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY COACH NEEDED!! The Pinawa Secondary School / Lac du Bonnet Senior School co-op hockey team is in need of a head coach for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. The team has a viable roster of players to form a team, but if a coach can not be found we will not be able to have a team this year. The team would be looking to start holding try-outs/practices within the next few weeks, and the season concludes in February with the AA provincial championships scheduled for the last weekend. All games and practices are to be held from Monday-Friday, so there is no weekend time involved in the commitment. PSS and LDB athletic staff will work with the interested coach to round out the coaching staff, and there are already people who have put their names forward for potential assistant coaching roles. Thursday evening SDW hosted a Trustee & Staff Meet & Greet in the courtyard. It was a lovely evening for the staff to get together and connect as well as meet the School Board.
