It was a fantastic day at Cross Country! Lots of smiles, a fantastic cheering section and a great effort from the whole group! We had 8 students finish in the top 10 in their categories!

Varsity girls won 3-1 sets in an amazing effort and hard fought sets, the varsity boys lost 1-3 however for their first game back it was an amazing effort and they played hard!

Thank you to Shawndrea Witwicki and Carole Frechette who lead kids through activities snd the staff were great ! PSS learned an Indigenous games called stick pull...akin to 1-on-1 tug-o-war! And some more bed work!
On Tuesday, September 24th, grade 5-12 students participated in an Indigenous Blanket Exercise facilitated by three staff members from the Treaty Relations Commission of Manitoba, Mr. McKay and Miss Remillard. This exercise is designed to encourage dialogue about culture, identity and community.
