Today, we had Manitoba Conservation Officers at PSS for a very informative and interactive presentation. Students got to learn about the many different career paths within Manitoba Conservation, meet “Riot” from the K9 unit, test their physical fitness, and check out a variety of animal pelts.

Some of our international students had a fun weekend climbing, seeing polar bears at the zoo and shopping :)

The grade 7/8 Social Studies class is learning about mummification and creating their own sarcophagi.

Our Grade 9 Business class have begun running their student led business ventures, putting the theory we cover into practice.
Week one: Blended Paradise.
Tenley, Jordan, Sophia, Jean and Hector have seen some real success running their smoothie business. With a rewards card, impressive advertising, employee “uniforms” friendly smiles, and a variety of tasty smoothies, they started off our initiate strong.
