PSS Grades 9-12 Canoe trip headed out today! They have made it to Otter Falls and will camp overnight!

Pinawa Track and Field
This great group of young athletes has started something! After only having one student qualify for provincials last year, this year saw seven Panthers compete at the big event. Lola and JIll even qualified to compete for medals by earning spots in Saturday’s shot put final. While injury and inexperience may have kept the girls from earning the finishes they were hoping for, they both made PSS proud and learned a lot from the event.
A huge congratulations goes out to Izzy, Lola, Jill, McKinley, Nic, Gavin, and Gregoire for displaying exceptional effort and class on the provincial stage. Big thank yous go to Mr. Nevado and Morgan for their help in running the track events on Friday, and an especially big one goes to Heather Boer for acting as a chaperone, driver, and all-around amazing presence throughout the weekend.
I’m happy to report that our track and field athletes have made plans to put in work over the next year to prepare themselves to improve on this fine showing at the 2025 provincials. Mrs. Leroux and I are very proud as their coaches. Great work, team!

PSS students are enjoying being outside and playing pickleball today. Thank you Pinawa Club for being so accommodating!

Testimonial Tuesday! Next up is Julia Henke, she came to us in 2023 and was in grade 11 at PSS.

Yearly we do an International supper with our International Students and this year they planned to do it while camping. It was a lot of fun and a little tricky cooking it all, but it was enjoyed by everyone! The students love sharing a piece of their home with others!

Our International Students enjoyed a weekend of camping with their host families in the Whiteshell Park. 2 of them even wanted to try sleeping in a 2 man tent for the experience and it sure was!!
