Grade 1/2’s ‘Math the Room’ Place Value edition.

An exciting update has come to our music room with the equipment set up to create a functional recording booth for students to use. Students have already been utilizing the booth to record original music, and songs they have been practicing as a band, as well as learning how to use the recording program. We are very excited to see what opportunities this addition can provide our students to express themselves and share their music with the community!

Each year, grade 11 Canadian History awards the Golden Goose to the student who amassed the most points on a series of trivia questions and games through the semester.
This year’s winner is McKinnley Boer.

Our 4 international students prepared the other students and host families a dish from their home countries. A delicious and fun time connecting with the students! Also a celebration of Manon's 16th birthday!!

On January 24 we celebrate the International Education Day and honour educators who inspire our students to create a more just future!

This week the Junior High have been giving their TUSC presentations. The students have been teaching their favourite skills, presenting biographies, and reviewing their favourite books/movies.

The MHSAA has put out their initial rankings of the top ten teams in the province. The Pinawa/Whitemouth JV Girls Co-op are ranked number 6 in Manitoba! The girls are currently undefeated and sit at first place in the Sunrise Athletic Conference.

Student Services at the School District of Whiteshell is a team-based approach to supporting the whole child (academically, socially, emotionally, and physically). We ensure every student feels included, valued, and supported so they can reach their full potential.
