Pinawa Secondary School School District of Whiteshell

About Our School

Courtesy and Respect

Courtesy and Respect are to govern the behaviour of those in our school. We do not have a lot of rules because we expect students to use common sense in realising what is acceptable behaviour and what is not acceptable.  Students and parents are referred to the CODE OF STUDENT BEHAVIOUR in this handbook for specifics.
Students must respect the rights of teachers and of other students. Teachers have the right to teach and students have the right to learn without being unduly interrupted or distracted by others. The teacher sets the rules in his/her classroom, and these must be respected. Students in the halls and classrooms must still consider the right of classes to carry on without interruption. Students have the right to be protected from harm caused by the actions of others.
